Kids are welcome to join us for a fun evening all about food! Watch a cooking demonstration, learn about our upcoming Book n' Cook program (for kids in grades 3-5), and take home a new kitchen tool.
EVPL and Urban Seeds have partnered on the Book n' Cook series for the past few years. Kids- and their families- have joined together virtually to share a love of cooking, learn new skills, and eat delicious food. For information about past seasons of this program, please visit EVPL's Book n' Cook 2023 site.

Located at 840 E. Chandler Ave., EVPL East was one of three original libraries built in Evansville with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. Along with EVPL West, it was dedicated and opened to the public on January 1, 1913. Renovated in 2003, the building is surrounded by a park-like setting and features a spacious meeting room, public access computers, and comfortable adult and youth areas.
