Create a graphic novel to tell a family story!
Ralph Shayne will be speaking at the Victory Theatre on April 16th as one of EVPL’s SPEAK 2025 Authors! His graphic novel, Hour of Need, is a story told with his grandmother’s memories of Denmark in the midst of WWII and how the Danish Jews escaped and resisted Nazi occupation.
The graphic novel is a form of media that has rapidly grown as a preferred medium for telling stories. In this program, participants will be provided blank comic panels and art supplies to craft their own graphic novel based on a family story.
