Come to explore, tinker, and create! Teen STEAM will feature various activities related to STEAM concepts, and will be a place for teens to relax, hang out, and learn through play.
Teen STEAM will be hosted at EVPL Central's Teen Zone on the first and third Thursdays of each month. This program will focus on a variety of activities relating to science, technology, engineering, art, and math. It will also be a relaxed space for teens to hang out and discover new things on their own. Some of the possible activities include making paper circuits, coding robots, building structures, folding origami art, and much more!Â

*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
