Santa is excited to celebrate with EVPL this year! Due to health and safety precautions, Santa will only be reading and singing with us.
After he has started the party with stories and songs, Santa will be off to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas. Please stay and join us for crafts, letters to Santa, pictures, and treats.
There will be an opportunity to take a holiday picture using a festive backdrop, but pictures with Santa will not be possible this year.
We ask that all children and grown-ups follow social distancing procedures and respect Santa’s storytime space.
Located at 2000 W Franklin St., EVPL West was one of three original libraries built in Evansville with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. Along with EVPL East, it was dedicated and opened to the public on January 1, 1913. Renovated in 2003, the building is surrounded by a park-like setting that is home to annual events like the Farmer’s Market and West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. EVPL West features a spacious meeting room, public access computers, and comfortable adult and youth areas.
