Santa is excited to celebrate with EVPL this year!  Due to health and safety precautions, Santa will only be reading and singing with us.

Santa is excited to celebrate with EVPL this year!  Due to health and safety precautions, Santa will only be reading and singing with us.  After he has started the party with stories and songs, Santa will be off to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas. Please stay and join us for crafts, letters to Santa, pictures, and treats.  There will be an opportunity to take a holiday picture using a festive backdrop, but pictures with Santa will not be possible this year.  We ask that all children and grown-ups follow social distancing procedures and respect Santa’s storytime space.

About the branch

*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
