Kids in grades 3-6 are invited to come in, grab a snack and do a craft while a librarian reads a middle grade novel aloud.

For Kids in grades 3-6 who like to listen to a good story!  Come in on November 9, 16 and 30, grab a snack and do a craft while a librarian reads a middle grade novel.

Participants will choose their book at the first meeting, and we'll read a little bit of the book each week. We will provide background information

about the author and the topics of the book. Snacks will be provided. If you have any food allergies, please contact Ellen at Oaklyn Library 812-428-8234.

About the branch

Opened in the spring of 2003, EVPL Oaklyn is located on the corner of Oak Hill and Lynch Roads at 3001 Oaklyn Drive. Featuring a green roof that helps regulate the temperature of the building and provides a valuable space for a meadow, the building itself has received national attention and won multiple design awards. EVPL Oaklyn boasts open spaces, study rooms, public access computers, and a popular meeting room.
