Calling all manga and anime fans! Are you looking for a group of like-minded peers to discuss your favorite manga and anime series with? Come to EVPL Stringtown for our after-school book discussion!
The relationship between manga, anime, and devoted followers exists in an interesting balance. Some manga inspire animes, some animes inspire mangas, and some traditional novels are adapted into anime. We want to talk about it!
Once a month we’ll be meeting after school to discuss a volume of a manga series that inspired a beloved anime. We’ll watch the first episode of the anime and then discuss the manga, the show, your thoughts, and how it all ties together!
Don’t worry if you’ve never read the book before, or if you didn’t like it, we want to know what you think!
Light refreshments will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own snacks!
For ages 10-14.
**Please note food will be present. If you have a food allergy, please contact 812-428-8233 for more information.
