A book club, but for cookbooks! Try out a different recipe each month, and come to discuss with other passionate home cooks.
Are you a passionate home chef? Do you love to read about new recipes? Do you enjoy experimenting in the kitchen? Then this program is for you! Come join our Cookbook Club. Each month, one cookbook will be selected. Throughout the month, participants will attempt a recipe from the cookbook, then come to discuss what they made at a monthly discussion! It’s a book club, but for home cooks who want to try new recipes and dish about their love of food.

*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
