Learn about the tradition of food and cooking as well as the local food system and land use.

Presenters Denise Jamerson with Lyles Station (Legacy Taste of the Garden) and Robin Mallery with Urban Seeds will teach youth ages 8 through 10 (Grades 3-5) how to prepare a recipe while connecting them to the local food system. We encourage you to prepare a dish to share with family and start a dialogue about the cooking tradition in your family.  Registrants will receive all necessary ingredients for the selected recipe and a digital storytime will be provided prior to the event.

NOTICE: Please make us aware of any food allergies you may have.

DISCLAIMER: By registering, I acknowledge that this event will be streamed, recorded, and distributed. If I wish for my child to not be recorded, I will alert EVPL staff.
